About us and our products

We are a new company dedicated to the fabrication of  topical formulations for hair care. We are using cutting edge technology especially in our transport vehicles, ethosomes, PG-liposomes, deformable liposomes and we use a special liposome coating technique in some of our products (please read more about our products on the product description pages for each product). We also incorporate the newest substances from recent discoveries in the field of hair loss research. Unlike many other companies we don`t sell simple generic versions of the famous Rogaine® / Regaine® minoxidil product from Pfizer©.

Rogaine® / Regaine® from Pfizer© is a hydroalcoholic formulation which contains 30% ethanol/alcohol, 50% propylene glycol (PG) and 5% Minoxidil. But ethanol is a skin irritant and makes the skin dry and propylene glycol is a known allergen and many people become allergic against PG and cannot use these minoxidil products anymore. Due to the use of advanced technology we are able to reduce the amount of ethanol and PG very much or even can do without it in some of our products which makes our products especially skin friendly and our vehicles are a novelty on the world market. Besides many remarkable ingredients, which have already been shown to be effective for hair growth promotion in experiment like for example adenosine, we of course also incorporate the two major substances in the battle against hair loss, which are Minoxidil and Finasteride.

Minoxidil is a drug available in two forms to treat different conditions. Oral minoxidil is used to treat high blood pressure and the topical solution form is used to treat hair loss and baldness. Minoxidil was the first drug approved by the FDA for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia (hair loss). Before that, minoxidil had been used as vasodilator drug prescribed as oral tablet to treat high blood pressure, with side effects that included hair growth and reversal of male baldness. In the 1980s, UpJohn Corporation came out with a topical solution of 2% minoxidil, called Rogaine® /  Rogaine®, for the specific treatment of androgenetic alopecia.

Since the 1990s, numerous generic forms of minoxidil have become available to treat hair loss while the oral form is still used to treat high blood pressure. The popularity hair loss treatment is due to the general preference in the overall population for the cosmetic appearance of a full head of hair. Minoxidil is used to stimulate hair growth in areas of the scalp that have stopped growing hair. As of early 2001, the exact mechanism of action of minoxidil is not known. Today also 5% minoxidil formulations are available. We also use Minoxidil in our topicals and increase its effectiveness with our superior vehicles and additional substances, which have already been shown to act synergistically with Minoxidil, like for example cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) (please read our detailed product descriptions for more information). The other major substance, which has been approved for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia by the FDA is oral finasteride.

Oral finasteride causes some side effects but recent research points into the direction that also topical finasteride may be effective while reducing systemic side effects. We are proud to offer you a topical formulation, which contains finasteride. Only few companies offer topical finasteride at the moment. But we are the only one who uses the, in our opinion, proper vehicle for finasteride. Finasteride gets degraded in solutions rather quickly but a special coating technique of liposomes  increases the stability very much, which has already been shown in experiment. To the best of our knowledge we are the first and only company to date who uses this cutting edge technology. Please inform yourself about our subtle products on our product description pages where we back up all statements with citations and links to the appropriate articles.
